I just started a blog. wow.

So I guess this is my first post.

I've been feeling really guilty lately for not writing in a journal, keeping up with baby books, or writing down the hilarious quips that my 2 1/2 year old son spurts at me on a daily basis. So I thought, hey, I'll start a blog, then I can keep track of everything in one spot.

So here are just a few thoughts I've had today: (by the way, I really like lists)

1) Right now we are in the middle of a crazy landlord move-out situation. And through it all I'm noticing that maybe I'm not as nice of a person as I once thought I was, because sometimes I have thoughts (and a few dreams) of telling the landlord off, slashing his tires, and egging his house. I won't do it, but I want to. And if God judges you based on the desires of your heart, then I need some heart-changing.

2) I watched the cartoon Aristocats today for the very first time ever, and it was good. Elijah and I watched it together on Youtube. Actually, it's taken us three days to watch the whole thing, because we usually end up watching 10-20 minute installments. But I love those old classics, with the same voices that are in the old Winnie the Pooh cartoons and Jungle Book. And afterward Elijah kept singing, "Everybody wants to be a cat."

3) Falling asleep nose to nose with two year old is about the sweetest thing ever.
